today i have been in the Kresge Computer lab typing up the 3rd part of my huge research proposal, and it honestly hasn't been as hard as the literature review part of it. but that is besides the part. i have been listening to Beach House all day too, and I am really digging them. and i think you would too. i think you should listen to them before i tell you much, but the music is very deep and mellow. the girl has a wonderful voice with music consisting of mostly organ/piano with guitar and some very light drumming and percussive instruments. people have said it is music to listen to on a lonely night. and i see that, with a class of wine or 3. but right now its making me feel very happy, upbeat, and positive.
anyways, i think its worth a listen. good napping music too. if you like autolux, while this is less musically intensive, i think you might like them for similar reasons.
